Simonetta Orsini inaugurates a new space in Buenos Aires
After a long period of remodelling work, Simonetta Orsini has finally opened the doors of its new point of sale inside the Petit Palais Buenos Aires, the first de luxe gallery in Latin America.
This spacious building now houses all of the world’s most important fine watchmaking brands represented in Buenos Aires by Simonetta Orsini. On the ground floor is the Audemars Piguet VIP corner, together with the exclusive boutiques of Jaeger-LeCoultre and IWC, while on the first floor are spaces dedicated to Chopard, A. Lange & Söhne and Vacheron Constantin.
Petit Palais Buenos Aires is located at Ayacucho 1945, between the elegant Alvear and Quintana avenues, in the heart of the Recoleta neighbourhood. The palace, which dates back to 1926, was created by Norwegian architect and artist Alejandro Christophersen (1866-1946), who also designed some of the most outstanding works of architecture in Buenos Aires. Although it recently underwent thorough remodelling, the visual identity of each one of the brands remains unchanged.
On the second floor of this neo-classical palace is a multibrand space for all other fine watchmaking brands represented in the country by Simonetta Orsini. It features exclusive corners for Hublot, Ulysse Nardin and Roger Dubuis, while specially designed institutional structures house brands such as Panerai, F.P. Journe, Graham, Greubel Forsey, Urwerk, Baume & Mercier and Technomarine. A few metres away is a sector of accessories featuring handbags by the most prestigious brands, ST Dupont accessories, and special cases for mechanical watches by Buben & Zörweg.
A visit to this building, an experience in true luxury, ends with the Cohiba Atmosphere Buenos Aires, a Cigar Club located on the third floor where members can enjoy the traditional flavour of Cuban tobacco together with the best coffee, whisky, rum or wine, and other premium products.
